Cable Spinning

This image taken from the new bridge's Tacoma Tower shows the tram frames affixed to the catwalks. The tram frames are used to guide the cable spinning wheel from the Tacoma side, across both towers to the Gig Harbor side, and back again. (Posted 10/07/05)
